Artist Statement

My artistic practice is rooted in a long-standing fascination with abandoned spaces, particularly buildings and a feeling to capture odd angles. This interest emerges from a personal engagement with themes of displacement, invisibility, and the experience of being misunderstood in one’s way of thinking, perceiving, and feeling. Through my work, I seek to reanimate what has been left behind—spaces, objects, and narratives that have been neglected or forgotten, as well as sharing anything that interests my eye.

Art-making functions as both an investigative and restorative process within my practice. By breathing new life into abandoned environments, by looking at things from a different angle, I explore the possibility of transformation and renewal, both on a personal and collective level. The work invites viewers to reconsider absence not as loss, but as potential—offering a space for reflection, connection, and hope.
